I am giving this a 3.5 Finally finished reading this. I accidentally jumped into this series in the middle. Oops. Was ok though. I think they can be read ok as stand alones. This did take a while for me to get through when I did put the time into it. Read while on the beginning of a vacation with family and meeting my first Grandchild. Was hard to put the time in so unsure if the book was just slow or it was me and my situation. (shrug) Matthew has roamed the earth for over 600 hundred years and has the conscious of a saint. Rhiannon is a witch who can control the weather with her emotions or by her will. The two of them cross paths in a London park while Rhiannon is having a temper tantrum and they are instantly attracted to each other and of course they continue to cross paths and fall for each other. For the most part I enjoyed this book, but thought Matt was a boring vampire and Rhiannon was just there. I usually don't have a hard time with the love at first sight thing, but there is no way that I believe a man has been around for more then 600 hundred years and has never fallen in love before.I like how the book ended with them having the future of a mortal couple and the hope for children.I will be reading the next book in this series because it is waiting for me on my Kindle, but I can say this series by no means one of my favorites.
Light, fun regency romp with werewolves and vampires.
