Lydia Dare Gone Wild! What do you get if you mix Regency England with pleasant were-wolves? Lydia Dare's wonderful adventure romance "The Wolf Who Loved Me" comes to mind immediately! Wow!Madeleine loves Weston Hadley. Weston Hadley loves her. The problem? He's a wild noxious creature her father objects to, while she is obviously too god for him. On the other hand, trying to control young love usually just pushes things to a bad place. When Maddie sees Wes changing to a wolf, he feels he has no choice but make her his mate. Kidnap is followed by flight to Scotland, further flight, captivity, rescue, abandonment, and finally, happily ever after. The book is sultry, sometimes leisurely, and sometimes fast-pasted. At times, there is an element of suspense, especially in the last portion of the book. A gorgeous book, from cover to cover. 3.75I truly enjoyed this book. I'd have given it a 4 but it started out a little slow in the beginning. It soon turned into a lively story as it unfolded. Lady Madeline was a wonderful character she seemed so very full of herself and it was a great joy to see she tumble from her pedestal. Weston was a unruly scoundrel and I loved him. Maddie and Wes made a wonderful pair. I laughed and cried through out and I highly recommend this book. This is my first book by Lydia Dare and it won't be my last.
What do You think about The Wolf Who Loved Me (2012)?
I appear to be reading these out of order....but they seem to do fine.
