Inbound Marketing: Get Found Using Google, Social Media, And Blogs (2009) - Plot & Excerpts
This book is great for beginner to mid-level social media professionals. It teaches all of the basics needed. Even though social media is rapidly changing, their principals and follow up steps still hit the mark 95% of the time. It just misses the subjects pinterest and tumblr while talking about delicious, stumble upon and digg (important to know about but not as vital anymore for the level they wrote the book for).Overall, they give great examples, talk of best case practices and break down first steps for startups, small organizations, large corporations and nonprofits. This book is nothing short of fantastic. I kind of wish I could give 6 stars. I got at least 50 ideas of things I should be doing, large and small, for my business' social media and inbound marketing strategies. Easy to read, intuitive and enjoyable. I highly recommend this book to anyone new to inbound marketing or to anyone making the transition between traditional outbound marketing to inbound.
