She loses her job and discovers that Harry is really Harrison Montgomery. He is running for Congress and finding out who he is shocks her. When the world finds out about her, thanks to her brother, Harrison shows up on her doorstep with an offer. She is both drawn to and insulted by his offer. In the long run she has no choice but to accept. She enters Harrison’s world of politics and the group of vipers known as his family.Ryan is determined to fulfill her part of the agreement but keep her heart safe. Of course we all know the best laid plans don’t always work the way we want.I liked this book a lot. Harrison and Ryan were both damaged goods. Neither knew what to do. One knew nothing about love and the other was always constantly searching for it until it ruined her life. The baggage that accompanies these characters is pretty extensive.However, Ryan flourished in the world of politics. She felt like part of a team and embraced it. They were exactly what the other needed. They had to get passed their stubbornness in order to realize it. It was an emotional ride and the author did a great job of opening complicated family relationships and showing how they could truly affect your future. I give it a 4 out of 5. This book is the 4th book in the "Boys of Bishop" series.Ryan hooks up with Harry,a customer from the bar she works at with the plans of it being just one night since he is just passing through and is trying to help his sister. Except weeks later she discovers that she is pregnant. Harrison is running for office and wants to prevent any further damage to his career so he offers Ryan a deal that he knows she can't refuse.....I really enjoyed the humor and overall personality of both Ryan and Harrison. The story is written so that you get points of view from both characters throughout the story.Reading it this way helps to better understand how they feel where each of their head.I found it difficult to understand how her family just dissed her for 6 years yet Ryan often commented on how they always have each others back.Overall I would recommend this book and plan to go back and read the first 3 since I discovered it was in a series after I read it.I am writing this review after receiving this book free via Netgalley.
