Fuck him. I’m done. The whiskey burns on the way down, sending a shudder through me. Drinking at six a.m. Airen’s fucking fault. The bed sheets are still wet with his sweat, his scent is everywhere. Yanking the sheets off, I toss them aside and remake the bed before flopping on the couch, bottle between my legs. I should’ve seen this coming. It was too good to be true.
