It's Kind Of A Cute Story (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
This is a great book for the Disney fan. If you enjoy a behind the scenes look at how some of the attractions and details came to be, Rolland Crump is the man for the telling. A frank and honest account of his experiences, Rolly tells it like it is and clearly enjoys himself and his career. Fun past Disney facts along with some other adventures thrown in the mix, it is an easy read for the Disney - or art - fan. Enjoyable and easy to read, the book is a great table side journey and an entertaining walk down memory lane. This was kind of a cute story. If you love reading about the history of the Disney parks, and other theme parks as well, you'll love this. At the end of the book, there are pictures of Rolly with his self-designed gypsy wagon. After reading this book, I felt like this was symbolic of his career, as he never tied himself down to one company or even one thing. I give kudos to Jeff Heimbuch, who had the daunting (but obviously enjoyable) task of gathering Rolly's stories into a cohesive book.
