Jason Priestley Hcc: A Memoir (2014) - Plot & Excerpts
This was a shlocky read, but what more could you expect? This book is a collection of anecdotes that links Priestley with a number of A-listers and B-listers.If you're expecting to find gossip or dirt on his fellow cast mates on 90210, you're not going to find much. He's too polite to state anything outright.(He's a typical Canadian, eh?) Instead, he alludes to events or scenarios, and dances around a number of topics. The book is disjointed but if you have a short attention span, this book is for you. You can read a chapter or two, do something else, and come back to the book a day or two later, and you won't feel like you've forgotten some important point, because really--there is no point to this book. I heard about this book when US Magazine recently featured a portion of it. I am a HUGE fan of Beverly Hills, 90210...so much that I have seen every episode in the series at least twice. So, naturally I was anxious to read this memoir. While I did enjoy the detailed recounting of his auto racing career, confirmation of the real reason Shannen Doherty was fired from the show, and explanation of his other business ventures I found this memoir to be lukewarm at best. Much like his acting...it lacked depth. Unless you are as rabid of a 90210 fan as I am, I would not bother reading this memoir.
What do You think about Jason Priestley Hcc: A Memoir (2014)?
Fun to read about Brandon, pre-and post 90210. And interesting info on being a Canadian in America.

I liked it. A quick easy read. But no deep dark gossipy secrets revealed.
