Was very difficult listening to both of the twisted soul's trying to tell themselves that they were no good for the other.It got boring really quick listening to Erin's self flagellation and trying to deny that she was other even as her nails and teeth elongated.purchased the book from audible. listening was very slow because of the mutual self loathing of the two main characters. Finish the book up reading it on scribd. This way I could skip all of the moaning and groaning about them not being good enough for the other. Finally was able to get some teeth into the story. Did not expect the ending. It was not explained exactly what type of shifter hybrid that Erin was. That annoyed me to know and with her being constantly denying her other self.I thought she might have been a banshee because she saw in her dreams the death of people as she explained it, that she had a connection too. It turns out she is just a Wolf shifter/human hybrid. If I see a book with Cynthia Eden on the front I buy it without even reading the blurb. This is a freaking awesome book! It's the first in a series and can't wait for the next. You have tigers, wolves, demons, and of course humans.Erin is not all human. Jude is a tiger shifter. When a stalker leaves Erin "presents" in the form of dead bodies, she hires Night Watch to protect her. As they are searching for a killer, they both reveal their secrets and Erin learns to trust someone besides herself.
