I listened to the audio and at the end it said "this has been an audio production of Holiday Kisses" so this book was clearly renamed at some point. And the new name has nothing to do with the story. There is one sprig of mistletoe and a mention of some alcohol, but neither is pivotal to the story. The main characters are whiny and hung up on the past. The overall story is ok and at least it wasn't too long. If I hadn't gotten this book for free, then I would have paid too much for it. A very emotional novella about a widow and her husband's best friend falling in love. It was a bit more emotionally distraught than I normally like, but is still a decent story. I must say the friends and family are amazingly supportive, which felt a bit too perfect.I listened to the audiobook, which is narrated by a man. While he did a good job (much of the perspective is Justin's), it was a bit strange to have a man read such an emotional story.
Sweet, holiday novella that's a fit for a night curled up by the fire!

I cried. I love the best-friends-to-lovers theme.
