Maybe I shouldn't have read two books of this author in a row. Kevin was better at being a supportive rather than a main character. Alpha was weaker than his Beta.Jay was trying to be less perfect but failed at this one thing only.Senators were a bunch of idiots and the main bad guy was even more so.I guess my need for a parody was satisfied with the first book and the second volume in such a short time was too much. This is the second book in the series, a follow on from "Jaynell's Wolf", I would suggest that you read the first one first, before being seduced into reading this one. And seduced you will be! You know exactly what you are getting from Ms Kell with all her books, that's why I like her so much, this book was more fun than any of the previous books I have read and it shows the writers imagination when introducing us again to the "avatars" - one a three headed dragon and the other a small gargoyle, where does she think them up? I also like the way she brings back her characters from other books, in this case Jay and Thomas. The book synopsis covers the story well, so I won't repeat and add any spoilers, but I will say that, if you want a quick, sexy, m/m, fun read, this is for you!
What do You think about Kevin's Alpha (2013)?
Although story plot is not so complex I had great reading time.

I really enjoyed this book just like the last one.
