Killing Rites (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

The deeper we get into this fantastic series the tougher it is to talk about without spoiling some really cool story beats. So I'll just say that we finally learn some things about the exact nature of Jayne's protections (though the ramifications will no doubt continue to emerge) as well as the past of Jayne's trusted friend and companion Ex. We hear from one of my favorite characters from book one, and Jayne winds up with a dog. And given the closing moments of the book, I really truly cannot wait for the release of book five! Okay it is official, I have fallen in love with this series, I LOVE the characters and I am really hoping for the love lives to be figured out. I have known that X was in love with Jayne' since book one. I have wanted her to see him since then! I don't think Aubrey was ever a good match for her and had a feeling that he would eventually end up back with Kim for some reason. I hold out hope. I also want to find out about Jayne' and her rider and how that happened. I have some guesses but we shall see!
