I really enjoyed this book!I like that the author didn't spend a ton of time world building at the beginning and instead just threw us into the story and gave us background as we went along.I loved pretty much all of the characters! They were super fun and relatable. These were characters that I would love to hang out with. I laughed throughout the book and knew pretty early on that one book wouldn't be enough! Now I'm off to continue the series :-) New fav paranormal series found! This book was just full of awesome. Lily was a great female lead, very strong, independent and defiantly knows her own mind. Her friendship with Pearl, Ezra and Jack (all of them learning to be the future rulers of the Mystical races) is so touching and brilliantly written-some of the situations they get themselves in was just too funny, definitely a laugh out-loud book! As for the secondary characters, the four Kings and Antonio, they were just fab. It was hilarious watching them trying to train and discipline the new four, especially when teaching them to link their powers which ended with Lily and the others going flying everywhere, while betting on how long it would take them to master it!Lol! Can't wait to read the second book after that cliff-hanger ending (which I will start as soon as I've finished writing this) and so looking forward to seeing where Lily and Ezra' s friendship goes, because those too shared some seriously hot scenes!
