I love a good story and Kink was a roller coaster ride. Wow! They are hot for each other and some incredible things happen. Action! Adventure! Intrigue! Fortune! The characters were great, especially Colton Child. Emily and Paul were fully realized, flawed lovers - which I adore!!! The only thing that made me mad about this book is that there are only tantalizing hints about how they got together involving a ruse Emily devised complete with costumes. Then I found out there is another book - the prequel "Fate". Can't Wait. Nikki Sex always leave me with a huge smile and a burning desire to read more of her books! Piggy the best nickname ever.This book is very well written. The description of thoughts and feeling expressed extremely well. This was my first Nikki Sex book and i bought it because of the name and the cover, both eye catching. It took me four weeks to read this book because of the sex scenes are very brutal. With that said i think its probably pretty close to reality of a master slave relationship especially this intense sadistic one. I usually look forward to the steamy hot scene, but i found myself nervous and exhausted after a scene. I am glad i finished this book and didn't stop because the ending was my favorite part. I don't want to give anything away but when she called him piggy i almost fell over i was laughing so hard. It was too violent for me and it took way too long to read thats why i give four stars.
