I almost abandoned this book after the first 30 or so pages, my initial response was this has to be the most lame plot I've read....it does pick up though and whilst I haven't rated it highly I enjoyed the inner dialogue of the main characters, there were some funny moments but it was a little too contrite for me. I would've liked more explanation of their world and several of the characters were a bit vague, for example the apparently endless range of skills/powers they seem to develop just as they need to? I loved the humor in this book. I just unfortunately didn't have time to make a connection with the couple so I didn't really care what happened to them. That's usually my problem with series though, and I already like the next one better. Love her humorous take on things as sometimes its easier to read something that isn't so serious all the time. Hang In there for number two, its already good 50 pages in!
What do You think about Kiss At Your Own Risk (2011)?
DNF - could not get into it even when I got over 3/4 of the way through and I almost never DNF.
