Kisses From Katie: A Story Of Relentless Love And Redemption (2011) - Plot & Excerpts

i think Katie Davis's purpose is to inform people about life in Uganda and what its really like. I also think she wrote this book to inform people about how god works and what its like to be a missionary and that even at a young age you can work throw god.the theme of this book is to never look down because there are so many times in the book where she didnt have enough courage or enough money to support her and her adoptive children.the style of this book is description. It explains about her time in uganda and what she was feeling and how it changed and challenged. I think the style was very effective. i really liked this book. i like this book because for about a year or so i have really wanted to go to africa for a while i had no idea how to get started but ive looked into it and im going next school year. there wasnt much i didnt like about this book. actually there wasnt anything i didnt like about this book. I think it was all around wonderful and all around very well written and it made me very excited to go to africa and help in an orphanege just like katie did on her first trip to africa. i think Katie Davis's purpose is to inform people about life in Uganda and what its really like. What do You think about Kisses From Katie: A Story Of Relentless Love And Redemption (2011)?

This book had such an impact on my life. Katie is such a brave and amazing Christian girl who decides to go to Uganda and help care for the children there. It is not easy to leave everything behind like she did. She left her family, friends, perfect boyfriend and simple lifestyle to help these children in need. The Lord called her to do this because it was His plan for her and even though it seems difficult, she still found joy and excitement in it. Every chapter was better than the on before, intriguing you and leave you wanting more. This book left me wondering what God has planned for me and whatever it is I will do it in His name and with pride and joy.
