I wanted to like her. I wanted to like her book. Instead, I was repulsed. It takes a lot to offend me and this book is just rude. You don't have to take off your bra, grow all your body hair, and scream obscene words referencing your female anatomy in order to be a powerful feminist. The only thing I learned from this book is that my definition of being a woman is very different than the authors. I think I would give this to friends to read. if nothing more it was pretty funny at times as well as saying some interesting things on abortion and being fat. it's an easy read and all, I guess I feel a little out of touch with the whole fashion chapter but even though I couldn't give a hoot about high heels and handbags I still related to what was said. There were a few things that I didn't like, I guess it felt like she was describing gay people as some sort of accessory and that was a bit weird but overall it was good.
I'm not sure I agreed with all of it, but I enjoyed reading it and liked her arguments.

Caitlin Moran is immensely readable. This was a fun (and informative) read.
