This is a very good book that challenged me to take risk and start something. So often we have great ideas or thoughts and we just don't act on them. Consequently, many great ideas are never realized and the world is not improved through their existence. So the purpose of this book is to challenge us to start something, be willing to fail, and start again. Keep sharing our ideas, and we will be better for having shared with the world. Seth's style of writing is certainly different from most books, and I have had trouble adjusting the format in the past. But now I realize that what Seth is really doing is giving you small bit-sized sections of writing to allow for reading, thinking and digesting the information in small doses. And since his books are pretty short in general that works out very well. I would recommend spending a little time with this book. This book is a wake up call of sorts to encourage you to stop being a spectator and get up and "start" something. "Juggling is about throwing, not catching" really made me think. Sometimes we find ourselves juggling a million things in our life and this gave me a new perspective on it. Maybe the key in keeping it all going is how I execute each thing and not so much about how it ends up. Finding that balance and not being afraid to try something new in order to achieve it is key.
Incredibly quotable. Short, brusque and strong. Seth Godin wants you to go and start things.
