This book talks about a subject many Latter-Day Saints (and probably members of other Christian churches)feel like they know a lot about, but does it in a way to bring a new and deeper understanding of just how important the Atonement is and just how it affects our lives.Wilcox does a great job at keeping your interest and explaining these deeper understandings in a way that is easy to grasp while still leaving you plenty to think about and ponder for yourself.I highly recommend it, and I know I would learn just as much if I turned around right now and started it all over again. This was not a DEEP, difficult to wrap your head around book. But it gave me so much to think about regarding the atonement. It deepened my understanding of my need for the atonement, and encouraged me to find the atonement in everything I do. I'm energized to pick myself up, dust myself off, repent and start again, and again, and again, and again . . . I now am expecting to need many, many fresh starts and realize that I am still progressing in doing so. Thank you, Brother Wilcox!
