L'agenzia Matrimoniale Per Cani Fortunati (2013) - Plot & Excerpts
Read this book for what it is, and you will not be disappointed! A cute, lighthearted story that is a fun, fast read. It is to the author's credit that she does not compromise good writing, as one may sometimes see in these lighthearted novels. Beth Kendrick's writing is smart and witty, with nice characterization and plot development. I also respect her obviously thorough research with regard to breeds, training, dog shows, etc. This was my first Beth Kendrick book, and I look forward to more! The idea for the novel was quite good and, being a dog lover, I was quite intrigued. While reading this book I found out that I'm not as crazily dog-obssesed as the protagonist and for this reason I couldn't understand why she was acting in the book.The part when she's actually playing match-maker between dog and person is quite funny. Her personal love story is way less entertaining.As a summer reading it would be good, though.
