This was a decent introduction to the author's writing style and universe. She comes up with an interesting take on gargoyles, and her heroine is both shy and adventurous. I enjoyed the story for what it was, but would have liked it to be much longer. After reading this short story, which is also good as a beach read, I was able to find a few other gargoyle stories from the same publisher, and even some others by this author. A short, fun, and steamy freebie. Definitely worth the price, and a steal. I liked the characters and the story line. I would've like a little more fleshing out, but alas, it's a freebie and a short story. This was pretty good and covered all the bases. There were some emotions, a little background, steaminess, some humor, and some ideas for the hubby! I wouldn't mind reading this again. Great for an anytime one-sitter read or pick-me-up. This would've made a good full-sized novel. I like the way it was written and will keep an eye out for this author. Enjoy!
What do You think about Lap Dance (2009)?
this one was kinda cute, 24 pages on my Nook, a little backstory, and some love...
