Las Llaves De La Prisión De Los Demonios (2014) - Plot & Excerpts
I hate that I just now discovered this series, but I'm glad that I didn't have to experience the agony of waiting for them to be published! I wish I could erase all memory of these books, just so I could start over and read them again. it took about a week and a half to finish them all. I hope this means that when I read them again,I will be able to slow down and savor them more. I didn't give them the attention they deserved! you don't chug fine wine, and you should not speed read thru Fablehaven! The Keys to the Demon Prison is a wonderful finale worthy to finish the series that is Fablehaven. Like the previous four, Brandon Mull is a complex, witty, and detailed author- a perfect combination. I love how he seamlessly transfers from one perspective to another without formally doing it chapter by chapter. There are always multiple plot lines going on with different characters, which creates a dramatic ending when they collide. Kendra and Seth are awesome protagonists that you can relate to- making mistakes and trusting instinct a little TOO much. Spoiler- I really loved how the Sphinx had to ally with the Sorensons in the end because even though he was the main antagonist, he had goodish intentions implying how every human (or immortal) makes bad decisions. All in all, fantastic book. I highly recommend this series!
