This book was a fun, quick, awesome read. I totally agree with Publishers Weekly when they call the Age of Fire series "A bloody, unsentimental fairytale." I have loved every moment of it. I do have to say there was a lot of build up to when the siblings meet up again, then the meeting seemed kind of rushed and unfulfilling . That is the only complaint I have against the book. Other than that it was an extremely satisfying read. I didn't like this one as much as the first 3 in the series. I thought the quality of writing had dropped off quite a bit, and Knight wasn't really able to pull off the three different viewpoints in one book. The premise of the book sounded interesting, and I was excited to see what would happen when the three dragon siblings finally met each other. However, the meeting was anticlimactic and seemed forced.I will probably read the next one in the series, with the hope that he's just gone back to (mostly) one point of view for each story. The capitalization of the dragons' names drives me crazy. Especially times when it's supposed to be capitalized but isn't. Ugh!353 pages; GR Author
What do You think about L'attaque Du Dragon (2000)?
It was an interesting book. The story continued to move forward at a good and steady pace.
