Un roman YA qui se lit plutôt très bien, un rythme assez soutenu grâce au suspense qui s'installe jusqu'aux dernières pages. Les personnages sont sympathiques bien que pas très élaborés. Pourtant j'ai bien accroché et j'ai aimé ce thème qui tourne autour du jeu, de la cyber télé réalité, de jusqu'ou l'on est capable d'aller pour une certaine reconnaissance et l'appât du gain. Vee, l'héroine, est cependant assez stupide par moment simplement pour prouver aux autres et a elle même qu'elle aussi peut être spontanée alors que le risque est omniprésent... En résumé, j'ai passé un bon moment malgré quelques aspects qui auraient mérités une meilleure écriture. Not really frightening, with minimal suspense. If you use just a little bit of logic, you can basically tell who's going to do what in the final round, and what plot twists await you. The story is basic, not unique at all. The characters didn't resonate that much to me, and Vee, while not really annoying, is still hard to connect to. Most of the assignments felt contrived and are used more to build up relationship / sexual tension between the male and female players. Just saying. Anyways, it's becoming a common trend for authors to mention theatres and plays in their novels. Especially in a story about high school students, and especially with a romantic sub-plot. It's becoming such a trope... it's almost borderline a cliche... AVOID AT AL COSTS please guys! (not the book, although it serves pretty much only as a fast, quick read).

Just...awesome. It sounds a bit Hunger Games-esque, though. I hope it's not a wannabe of sorts.
