L'esperienza Di Un Anticonformista. Vivi La Tua Vita E Cambia Il Mondo Navigando In Internet (2000) - Plot & Excerpts
While reading the about the adventures he was able to accomplish for himself, I thought, this is great for a single person. Then I had to shut my mouth when he talked about a family that was able to travel the world with a toddler. But it was 2 parents and 1 child. I probably could travel like that with child if I had a partner. Sigh, life seems so much easier with a partner. This book gives one things to think about and what is really important. I am inspired to have more experiences and less things. I have been telling everyone that in five years I want to get rid of all my things except for the few things given to me by my grandmother and then head out on my adventure. How awesome it would be to travel and work from anywhere in the world. One day that will be my reality. I am putting it out there for the universe so it is being received loud and clear. Don't let the seemingly bombastic title scare you away! Although this little book is clearly from an earlier phase of Guillebeau's writing, it's packed with useful information and ideas, unique perspectives, and reality checks which are (surprisingly enough) rather inspiring. I would suggest reading The $100 Startup as well as posts from the author's blog first, in order to have a bit of context for some of his more radical views. Nevertheless, this is an extraordinarily practical, helpful book. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in living a thoughtful, vivid life. The Shelf: Accepted. Favored Author.
