Yeah, I found the whole pregnant granddaughter of his mate creepy. Should've stuck with a randomer. Plus they should have been more harsh on her, suddenly they're nice to her? Not believeable. Also wouldn't haven't forgiven him so easily for sleeping with her just to prove a point to himself even if it was before he knew John was his mate. Didn't like Lewis in this which is a shame as I liked him at the end of book 1. It was fun to read about the Larson family again. But this one wasn't as enjoyable as the first one.The hot and cold between John and Lewis were enough to give me whip lash from how they quick went from kissing to storming out of the room. To say that the story did not went smoothly was an understatement. I don't know if this is supposed to reflect the temperamental artist that Lewis was but for me it did not make the story flow well.
