Letters To Penthouse XXXIV (2009) - Plot & Excerpts
As we waited to board our connecting flight in Denver, Leslie couldn’t help overhearing two early 40’s businessmen discussing problems with their flights. It seems they’d been delayed due to bad weather and missed their connecting flight, and so wouldn’t get to Aspen in time for a fancy TV awards shindig. (The affair was the next night, but they had to get there that night to register or something.) Since Leslie travels all the time, she knows shortcuts for rebooking flights. She asked the men if they would like help, and they said yes. She took their tickets, pulled out her cell phone, and with a few calls got them on our flight! They were amazed, and eagerly introduced themselves. One had an Australian accent—he was Jeff. The other one, the one with an old-fashioned southern drawl, was Will. We all boarded the plane for the quick flight to Aspen. As we picked up our bags at the other end, the guys continued to thank us. They were still waiting as we left to get our rental car.
