A very charming and well-woven story, if a bit of a slow-starter and growing rather long-winded toward the end. All of the characters are endearing, and the Kelly family is absolutely lovely. I really wish this story would be made into a movie, just to be able to see the twins' characters, Roisin and Florrie, live and in person- they are such a hoot, and the best parts of the book! There was a point when I had my suspicions about "Mark", but was unable to find the passage to verify them when flipping back through the early pages. Even though this book too me a long time to finish, I enjoyed it. The last chapter was the only one that had me glued to the book. The rest seemed slow and semi-predictable. I kept waiting for her to start the dog walking service, but it was a smaller operation then I thought. Also Lorcan (who is young and attractive) for some reason I thought was old and fat most of the book. This made me have a totally different attitude while reading so I was confused at times.I did like it enough to want to finish and never give up on it. I'm happy I stuck it out. It was fun but lasted too long.
A very sweet story, what I like to call "fluff fiction"; light, easy to read, entertaining.
