5 gloriously, dirty stars!Just finished book 2 and must say that I loved it. I absolutely love Colton and his cocky, sexy a$$! This was an amazing conclusion to Colton and Carly Jo's story and everything fell into place just as I had hoped. I must say that I am sad for their story to end and I really hope that Ms. Silla has plans to continue the series. This girl is dying to see how the Savannah/Luke scenario plays out **hint, hint, wink** I was looking forward to this book to see where Carly Jo and Colton's story went. I wasn't disappointed- this book was filled with so much emotion I had to stop reading for a few hours. Throughout the book the author evokes every emotion known to man. One minute you are happy that Carly and Colton are on the right path and then you are crying and have a stomach filled with knots over them. Carly Jo is a very strong willed character and she finds it hard to fully let go of the past and move on with Colton, who is the one guy who completes her world. Emotions run high when it comes to light that a baby is on the way but nothing id as simple as that. Now with the whole relationship struggle there is the whole family/evil brother who is a total arse if you ask me. The mine is taking it's toll on Carly Jo but she stand her ground. The other side to this story is Savannah, Carly Jo's sister. This girl has been and is still going through hell with her husband Josh. As the story progresses the whole truth comes out and the author writes in such a way you want to give Savannah a huge hug and hide her from her husband, but lucky for her, Carly Jo's best friend in the form of the very sexy bad boy Luke steps in and helps her out. After the whole emotional trauma this book caused me lol I was so freaking happy with how this book ended. Now we just need to see how Josh deals with his time and thoughts. 5 stars, Reviewed by: Amy Davies, Eye Candy Bookstore Manager
