I love this series! But I don't care for the heroine's love interest. Granted, there are quite a few right now, but I'm specifically referencing Ethan. I really, really, really don't like him. He's charming, but in a sexual predator sort of way and I do not like the fact that the heroine can't stand up for herself against his sexual prowess. He's likeable, but sleazy. No matter how he might excuse it, he treats her like an object and is so obviously only interested in sex with her. If she does end up with him, it will seriously ruin this great series for me. This is the second book in the glimmerglass series by Jenna Black. I have to say this one was my favorite of the series, though all of them are good. I really appreciate the inclusion of the Erlking, as he isn't a very well know fae/mythological figure. He's a little obscure and was made completely sexy in this book. Again I can't reveal much plot wise as it would give away the main unique thing to the series but it's pretty pivotal to the plot of this story. More romancey/triangle/quadrangle things happen. I will say something I didn't mention in the last review. I may be the only one but when reading in my head, despite any description to the contrary Finn is black, he's super hot, with a shaved head and extremely angular features. Don't know why as I'm pretty sure every single person in this book is white by description, but in my head Finn is black, so his son is half black and gothy and cute as hell. Maybe my own desire for diversity in fiction kicks in and I make characters various races whether they are or not. No idea but that's what happened and if theres ever a movie or show of this book I hope they make it so (number one). In any case, read this book.
What do You think about L'incantesimo Delle Fate (2013)?
Ok I am really rethinking the Ethan thing. I think that he is charismatic and all but I think there is always this can you really trust what he is saying is the truth. I get why she stood up and stepped up with the whole Ethan and Arawn. But Arawn what a creeper what are you like 5,000. And personally feel bad for her dad, I can't imagine coveted thought of children and the whole Connor mess. I personally am hoping she ends up with Keane, he seems more stable and trustworthy. But I am loving this series. I can't wait to start the next one.

Honestly, I liked this one just as much as the first. A lot more happened in this book though and to me it was painful to go through it with the characters. But If I was given a choice to read a book that makes me feel nothing for the characters or a book that makes me experience everything with the characters, I would always go through the pain and the happiness with the characters because that's what makes a great book. So amazing book and totally worth binge reading all day!
