The Chuy Bravo advice book, spun from the television show Chelsea Lately (E! network), is a humorous look at fashion, love, music, finance, friendship, etc. from slightly out of focus binoculars. From the male perspective, executive producer Tom Brunelle might be a comic genius. From the ladies book club perspective—maybe not. Expect a slightly raunchy stab at sexual innuendo in pop culture. If you are a Clay Aiken fan, dislike bathroom humor, or have transgender friends—you might pass on the 179 quip paperback. If you are attending a bachelor party with fourteen drunken males that suffer from ADHD and the stripper doesn’t show, it will be a fabulous read. Enjoy! As someone who is head over heels in love with everything that Chelsea Handler touches, I had high hopes for this book. I didn't expect it to be a literary classic, but I assumed it was going to be funny. Not only was it not really funny, but it wasn't worth what I paid for it. Most of the pages had about 20 words on it. It doesn't take a lot to amuse me so it speaks volumes that this did not. I'd say he should stick to being the butt of jokes and rethink his ability and desire to make jokes. Waste of time.
What do You think about Little Nuggets Of Wisdom (2009)?
Just a humorous bundle of quotes from Chelsea Lately's very own silly little nugget, Chuy Bravo.
