Sorry, but I was bored. The main characters were both so idiotic and annoying that I had trouble finishing it.The author writes very good romances, but I think this one had too much mourning - if it was just one of them, then it would have been better, but both hero and heroine were getting over (veeery slowly, especially her) another love.I also wanted to repeatedly slap the heroine, especially during the sex scenes. Oh, well, I guess it's time to take a break from historicals and look for some Alpha heroes. I thought maybe my second favourite from this series would be Thief of Shadows, considering how much I loved Winter Makepeace, but truth be told I think this one's probably it (my first being Scandalous Desires). I really liked this book, everything about it. The characters and their somewhat shared history, and how they both took a second chance in falling in love. Megs is cheerful, determined and optimistic; exactly what Godric needs to break his walls. Elizabeth Hoyt really is a very talented writer.
What do You think about Lord Of Darkness (2013)?
I gave this book to my sister, she loved it very much and is eager for more.

I don't know what to say about this book, it was OK, but nothing more.

Liked it well enough, but not a standout for me .
