The Carrie Diaries Faith Wilder I think that the book is an extraodinary book for me to read. The main character, Carrie, is a Senior in high school, and is just starting to figure everything out about what real life is truly about. Her life style is almost exactly the same as mine, as in that she is spoiled, has lots of family, and can't seem to keep the boys away from her. It is almost as if we both are boy magnets. We don't try and when we do fall for the boys, trouble is on its' way. this books spells Faith Wilder in bold black and white letters. I loved this book. It was a great book. I am reading summer and the city now and I hope It is as good as this great book.I want to see the tv series when I am finished reading the second book. I liked how the book was was set in the 80s which is when my mom was a kid and my dad was a preteen in early eighties and teen in the late 80s to early 90s. So I wanted to know what it was like in 1984 which is when I think the book is supposed to take place which is also when my dad was 10 and my mom was 5. I recommend this book to any teenage girl who wants to read a memorable book with a great female protagonist.
