Teens looking for some high fashion with their teenage witch story will appreciate this new series that crosses the Kardashians with Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Brooklyn Sparks is tired of being invisible at her high school which is run by The Elite, a group of the 5 most attractive male and female teens. They rule the school from on high and even though they mistreat everyone below them, this is the social group that Brooklyn longs to be a part of. If only she could be as beautiful and popular as them, she knows she would love her life. Luckily Brooklyn knows this dream will be a reality when she turns 16. That is the age that her strict parents decided they would unbind her magical powers and let her finally practice witchcraft. Despite her parents’ warnings to proceed slowly, as soon as she can cast spells, Brooklyn transforms her hair, teeth, body and wardrobe into someone even The Elite would envy. Of course, she is no longer invisible and is now being wooed by The Elite and challenged to perform tasks to join their group. Brooklyn is eager to belong and learns there’s often a high price to pay to get everything you want. Teens who want to read the usual teenage drama and romance mixed in with witchcraft will enjoy this new series. While the adult in me knew where Brooklyn’s ill-fated path would head, most teens should easily fall under its captivating spell.

THOUGHTS:Don't know why I even bothered reading this. Too cliché.
