He’d sort of been expecting her to tell him, but she hadn’t. And then he’d wondered if maybe she wasn’t telling him for some particular reason but then he decided he was being an idiot. I’ll assemble the shells for the tarts today and fill and bake them tomorrow afternoon. The only equipment we’ll need for serving everything at the Gala will be a warming tray to keep the tarts at the right temperature.
