This book was okay. It didn't make me fall in love with the characters, and I wasn't crushed when it was over, like I do when I really dive into a great book. the entire "Dane" fiasco could have been left out of the book completely, he served no real purpose. I could see Brad pursuing Gabby even without Dane there. I think this book was a free one from nook, and I'm glad I didn't spend anything for it. I don't think this book was a tearjerker but it made me teary eyed. Oh well, maybe it was. Was it just me? I don't know.So here, it's really hard to know if you're really into someone when you're broken for too long. I mean, sometimes you tend to block feelings (i.e being happy with someone or falling in love again) because you felt that it wasn't right to be happy when you felt that you're supposed to spend the rest of your life with someone who's dead... Yeah, it's really hard to compete with dead people especially when your world revolved around them back when you're together. You knew you had to let go but a part of you died with them. That's what happened to Gabby. And it pained me one way or another.Dane was an asshole. How could he ever do that to someone, I mean both to Gabby and Sarah! What a jackass!Brad was well; hot, amazing, and a superhero! He's so thoughtful and I love how he took care of Gabby's heart. I love him.I like Matt, Kyle and Fran too!Ohhhh. Brad was poetic, I love the way he composed his letters. Over all I like this book because it talked about the effect of what family does to you, I mean what they say or what they said mattered because it could either make or break you.So there, it's up to you to find out other stuffs.
