What do You think about Loyalty In Death (2004)?
I loved this book... I really did! I loved the intriguing story, the unbelievable plot twists and all that "cop work".But I hated both Roarke and Eve in some parts of the book. They both have a problem with boundaries....as in, they have none! Eve had no business trying to run Peabody's and McNab's personal life(something she also did with Peabody and Charles). The girl needs to learn that some things she needs to get her nose out of!And Roarke should have more respect for Eve's job and only interfere after she asks for help. I don't enjoy the fact that he thinks he has a right to stick his nose in her cases.

Yes! Yes! Yes! This book was awesome! Why am I so excited when I know that this series is great? Because finally it happens something that I was expecting! I will tell you what in a while! So, another amazing book in this futuristic series by J.D. Robb aka Nora Roberts.I have to say that this installment gives us a better view of the futuristic world and the way things are in this time. Also, it gives us a lesson to their history very important to the story of this book. Eve has to deal with a very different case and a very difficult one. We are talking about terrorists and explosions in the whole city that leave behind many dead people. And not only that. Eve has to deal with two murders that seem like an easy case but it’s far from it.Eve is amazing in this book! I admire her because she is the perfect person to deal with the worst situations. Many people think that she is cold and that she doesn’t show any emotion but the truth definitely lies elsewhere. She cares and she cares deeply, but she’s afraid to show it. Without knowing it, she was very protective towards Peabody and I found this situation cute, although I truly believe that it was too much!Roarke as always is awesome! Sexy, smart, badass and with enough money to buy the entire galaxy! I love the way he is, not only with Eve but with the people his wife cares about. He’s still is a mystery for me and I believe that we don’t know not even the half about him.But the best part in this book? PEABODY AND MCNAB! Finally!!!!! Their chemistry is beyond words and their scenes in this book simply AMAZING!This book was the most fast-paced from the series so far and the suspense at the end was killing me! I absolutely love this series and I will keep reading it! I recommend it to all the fans of this genre!

Let me first say that being able to switch back and forth between my kindle book and my audible audiobook is such an addictive thing. Ok, now that that's out of the way, I'll get to this review. I had put this series aside for about 2 years and now I'm getting back into it. I read the first 8 books pretty much back to back and I think I got burned out. Now that I've had some distance from it and I'm returning, I know why I devoured them so quickly when I first started.I absolutely loved this. I love Eve, I love Roarke, I love Peabody, and Mavis. I love New York in the year 2059. And I love JD Robb's writing style. This story had so many twists and turns, I thought I knew what was going on and then it would turn a different way and I'd have to start over again. I loved that! I also loved that Eve is starting to accept the fact that she is human and not a droid so she has emotions and that's ok. I love the way that Roarke is able to give her what she needs.I'm going to to *try* to give myself little breaks in between books as to not get burned out, but man, this series is fantastic! And the narrator of the audiobooks (Susan Ericksen) is fantastic! She truly is Eve Dallas!
