Making Rumours: The Inside Story Of The Classic Fleetwood Mac Album (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
This books lures you in with a promise of s "behind the scenes " look of the drama going on while "rumours" was being made. Don't be fooled it's actually just the sound engineers way to get people to read a biography about him. You can skip pages at a time while he drones on about sound editing until you hit one short sentence about the band. Lindsey will punch a woman and this still gets a short part, so that ken caillet can continue to talk about how he pretty much made the album good, and blah blah blah. If your looking for a fleet wood Mac biography this is NOT for you. Wow. What an interesting story. This is book is long overdue, and a story very well told by Ken Caillet, the engineer of the legendary Fleetwood Mac album. The main points of the story (the breakups of John & Christine MacVie, Lindsay Buckingham & Stevie Nicks, as well as Mick Fleetwood & Jenny Boyd), is just the start. What a soap opera! How this band continued to produce such amazing music through it all is a mystery to me! (Ha. A little Fleetwood Mac joke there…)
What do You think about Making Rumours: The Inside Story Of The Classic Fleetwood Mac Album (2012)?
This sounds like a Lou Aronica special, not a book from my former employer, Wiley...

A little too technical at times about the recording process but interesting overall.
