This is book 3 in the Scotty Bradley mystery series and the best so far with many twists, turns and big surprises!! I really enjoyed it.Gregg Herren the author, has two mystery series that are set in New Orleans: Chanse Macleod and Scotty Bradley. Scotty Bradley is the more light hearted series which follows the investigative exploits of Scotty the former go go dancer/fitness trainer. Scotty is also gifted with the sight and can read tarot cards.Alas this gift doesn't prevent him from getting into trouble, stumbling across crimes, getting kidnapped and other stuff. In this story Scotty along with his two boyfriends Frank and Colin finds himself in the middle of an investigation when a local drug dealer gets shot. And it couldn't have happened at a better time - Mardi Gras. Scotty's investigation leads him into a maze of secrets both family secrets and the secrets of his boyfriends and other friends. And Scotty finds himself in a race against time as all the secrets come to a head!This one was excellent with so many twists and turns. Not surprisingly this story is a LAMBDA nominee and the best so far in this series.
