She climbed in and smiled through the window at him as he closed the door for her. He came around and got in himself. “What's up, G? You're looking at me like you don't know me.” There he went, reading her thoughts again. “That's what I was thinking. I don't know you. I know who you were, but not who you have been these last ten years, not who you've become.” He tipped his hat back and winked at her, making her smile.
