I really enjoyed this book, it was a great new spin on an old tale. I especially liked that the 'cinderella' tried to not be a damsel in distress by was independent. '...no, I was artemis, strong and intelligent and cunning". The would be prince charming was more broddy than charming at least he did not pair that broodiness with the usual alpha male behaviour of wanting to control everything. I think that allowed for the relationship to be developed.I enjoyed that the story was written from both perspective allowing the reader to see both side of the story. I also enjoyed the fact that though he was to be her prince charming, he had his own problems, his own set of demons to work through. The multiple perspectives allowed the reader to experience this.I enjoyed this book and will be moving on the the prequel (Broken Prince). I would recommend this book to all romance lovers. Another BBW story where Cinderella meets her Prince. This is by far one of the most unusual writing styles I have ever read. At first I had a hard time getting into it but, I stuck it out and it will definitely be one of those stories that will stick in my mind for a very long time if not forever. Just downloaded the next part of this story because I just have to know if they can survive the ups and down and end up together
What do You think about Me, Cinderella? (2013)?
Great build up to a huge let down. Don't waste your time on this one. It's almost a YA book.
