Similar to The Muppets Christmas Carol Disney made their own version of the story A Christmas Carol. The story is the same, as it is with EVERY version, they just added the characters that they own to play the roles of the characters in the classic Christmas story.You got Scrooge McDuck as Ebenezer Scrooge. Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchit. Donald as Scrooge's nephew Fred. Daisy as Isabelle. Goofy as Jacob Marley (which I thought was really interesting). Jiminy Cricket as the Ghost of Christmas Past. The Giant (from Fun and Fancy Free or Mickey's Jack and the Bean Stalk) as the Ghost of Christmas Present. and Pete as the Ghost of Christmas Future (typical).You know . . . how come Pete and Goofy didn't switch roles? It would make more sense if Pete was Jacob Marley. But then again Goofy probably wouldn't make a good Ghost of Christmas Future.There's really not much else to say except that it was a good version of the classic A Christmas Carol.
