His eyes welled up and he swiped at them. He hadn’t cried in many years and if Nico saw it he would use Marco’s pain to his advantage. Marco wished he could make Natalie see how manipulative his family could be. Obviously she saw the parallels between their situations, but what Marco saw was a much uglier side.
