3.5 StarsI wasn't real fond of the H, Monroe in this one, though he definitely had some redeeming moments that I loved. He's self-important, high-handed and smug. Eden tell him to call her Edie because she hates being called Eden, so what does he do? He smirks and calls her Eden. Gawd, he was annoying. He manipulated Eden and pushes his way into her life. I wanted to see him suffer and I was glad when he did. With the exception of Monroe and his high-handedness I really enjoyed the book. It's fast paced, interesting and the character felt genuine. I also enjoyed how Monroe pursued Eden before he even knew she was his Angel. I liked Eden, though she did have a wee bit of TSTL syndrome. She took some unnecessary risks with her life toward the beginning of the book.Overall, I liked it and I look forward to the next book in the series.
