Mouseheart (2014) - Plot & Excerpts

Those of us that are old enough to remember the Secret of NIMH movie and book will love Mousheart. This animal fantasy takes us from a pet shop where mice are being used as feeder mice to deep underground where rats and mice can read and live in sophisticated societies. One of those societies, however, is a bit barbaric, and Hopper, the mouse from the pet shop, and his new found friend Prince Zucker the rat, work to overthrow the emperor of Atlantia. This book is one you won't want to put down. This is great for boys and girls, alike. This book is amazing!In my opinion,I thought it was one of the greatest stories I have ever read.It also had an awesome ending too.The front cover and the short introduction caught my attention.There were a few parts in the book where the main character,Hopper,would make some pretty dumb choices,but I still wouldn't change a thing about the story.The characters were relatable, the story was beautiful.In general, I loved it!
