Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

This book is fantastic and I loved all the details in it. The plot is captivating and doesn't let you stop reading. My father has a graphic industry and he still works with this old letters and have to put them together to form an printing.I always loved what he does and with this book I saw a another point of view.I really enjoy books that gives you information and that keeps you entertained. It was a quick reading, made me really happy and curious about the types of printing and all the story about Aldus Manutius.I highly recommended. The moment I began reading this book, I was hooked – the bookstore captivated me and I found the main character, Clay, funny and incredibly likable. I really liked how all of the characters had their own qualities that came together in the end to solve the code, and also especially how though in the beginning when we meet Clay he just seems like an ordinary person but yet at the end of the book he has accomplished so much. I admit one thing I didn't really like was the relationship between Clay and Kat. I felt that it was a bit rushed but maybe that's just me because the book isn't very long!
