Perhaps closer to 3.5 stars. Multiple authors come together to deliver one murder mystery which, in and of itself, is worth a couple of stars. Contains a whole cast of characters in which to love, hate and suspect throughout. However, each chapter is prefaced with the name of the author who wrote which was a bit distracting and perhaps prejudicial because I found myself then comparing chapters and authors. It might have been better to do a table of contents or index at the end listing all the chapters and who wrote them. However, on the whole I thought they really did a good of job of creating a good yet heartbreaking story and bringing it all together by the end. I wouldn’t say it had a totally unforeseen ending – I did have an inkling by about 70% but didn’t guess it all. Since I work in San Francisco, it was fun to know the areas the authors were talking about in and around the area. It was also nice to see that most of the proceeds go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and they are working on a second book which you get a preview at the end of this one. It was an interesting concept - 26 authors working together on one book - but at times I think this is what made it wordy and over exaggerated. I would suggest you buy and read the book if for no other reason then the editing brother/sister team donated 100% of the proceeds they received from this book to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society - a very noble cause. If you like quick read mysteries you'll enjoy this one.
What do You think about Mrtví Neznají Klid (2012)?
No character development or smooth flowing from chapter to chapter. I can't recommend it.

Good book, but what's more good - that genuine purpose to dedicate money to help people.
