Multiple Blessing By:Jon and Kate Gosselin is autobiography that shows the life of a family with sextuplets and twins. Jon and Kate where in complete shock when finding out they will be new parents to not one or even two but six new babies. Through out Multiple Blessings there are many stories of the hard rough times of having six babies, but also the inspiring ones that move us all. I couldn't really connect with the book, because i don’t have kids, but i found it very interesting but at times it got boring, nothing new was really happening the kids were just growing up. I would recommend this book to anyone with kids, wanting kids, or just enjoys family and kids. This book recounts the story of Jon and Kate meeting, getting married and finally having kids and ending right when they moved into their 2nd house (the 2nd documentary that spun off into the TV servies). The book says it is authored by Jon and Kate Gosselin (and Beth Carson), but it's written solely from the point of view of Kate. I bet it reads happier if read BEFORE the divorce announcement, but ultimately it's hard to shake the notion that this is probably some of the happiest moments of their lives and now they're just trailer trash pseudo-celebrity tabloid fodder. Kate is very religious and that threw me off for the first few chapters. She seems to praise the Christian god a little too profusely and the book is littered with passages from the Bible (not a surprise since the book was released by a Christian-centric publisher). The constant religious references got old real fast (this coming from someone who was raised Catholic), but once you hammer through it, you'll see a typical American family who struggled to make it only to fall apart as pseudo-celebrities.
What do You think about Multiple Blessings (2008)?
the more I read this - the more I really didn't like Kate. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
