Not exactly what I expected... the cover makes it sound like it will be about keeping your marriage strong - which I guess it was in a round about way - but it ended up being more about keeping yourself healthy and fulfilled so you can then enrich those around you. There were some good ideas that we all know about but need to be reminded of from time to time, but in the end I just felt patronized. I could have done without the crude language as well. What a wonderful book. I picked it up randomly at the library thinking I wonder what ever happened to Gabrielle Reece. It was a interesting look into her views on marriage and motherhood. I had no idea we had so much in common. How taking time to yourself as a mother is so important to be a better mother and to show your kids that life isn't all about them. How each mother needs to stop punishing herself and feeling guilty about the job the ended to have children or the job they kept when they had children. You make the most of the time you have with them. You can have a special date night or weekend thing just you and the kids that lets them know you love them and care.
I enjoyed reading her outlook on life with her husband and kids.
