I picked this one up without the intent of reading it right away (especially since it was 3rd in a series). However, I was immediately drawn into the story and had a hard time putting it down.I love the way the story played out and I'm glad it had a fairly happy ending.Gray and Durian worked very well together. Gray is a very strong character and I hope to read about them in future books.I'm looking forward to reading the 1st to books in the series and picking up after this one. I do hope that Gray's sister can be healed and I hope she finds a great "demon" to take care of her.So, if you like a story with action, suspense and a great touch of romance then this is a book to read. (And apparently, it isn't a problem to read them out of sequence.) Carolyn Jewel has been a guilty pleasure of mine for several years. She was one of the first paranormal authors that I ever read and helped introduce me to the genre. I was lucky to have started with her. This is the third installment of the Witch series and it doesn't disappoint. I really enjoyed the interplay between Gray and Durian. It is a real pleasure to watch the love between them develop and grow. There are some real page turning moments that are action packed.
