This book has been setting on my Wish List for over a year. What prompted me to finally buy the book is reading that the sequel is out and it sounded really good. So I downloaded Not Wicked Enough and now I'm not sure it can be topped. I absolutely loved this heroine. She is so unique, funny and confident. I can honestly say she's one of my most favorite heroines. I love that the hero is not one of those "dukey" dukes who feels he's second only to God. He takes his role seriously, but you know he'd rather be working with his hands, outdoors, the way he grew up. I wish there had been more of mention of how things may have turned out with the heroine's father, but that was so minor compared to the overall feel of the book. A+ I won this in the giveaway because I wasn't about to pass up a free book. So I read it at the same time I was reading another book (ironically) with "wicked" in the title. I didn't even notice it for about two days.I didn't think it was this awesome romance, but it was better than decent. Mountjoy is a character you can really like because he's got flaws, but he also has a soft side. And Lily is just this charismatic woman who draws all kinds of men to her. It was sort of an interesting dynamic between Mountjoy and Lily. There were some things about Lily that slightly bothered me, but I really don't want to go into detail about what that was. There are a number of subplots, which I think romance books really need to be successful. And they were interesting and affected the relationship between Mountjoy and Lily. So that interweaving was nice.
